Accidentally Quick Lunch

Most of my lunches are accidental lunches.

Above: Silken tofu scramble with a grated carrot and a large handful of salad thrown in for some pretty greenery. Ridiculously filling but delicious. After subbing silken for firm tofu in my scramble once, there is no turning back. Cannot get enough of nooch!!!!! :9

Below: Tasting plate of Fry’s nuggets, marinated tempeh (soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, chilli oil and white pepper) and pan-fried polenta.

I wonder if I’ll land a job in a firm that accepts bento as a lunch culture. Here in Singapore, at $4 for a plate of noodles / rice, there really is little incentive to take your lunch to work. I fear missing out at lunch time interactions and not fitting in, since food establishments are only too keen to plaster “NO OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS” all over their shops. How would you react in situations like this?
